Who we are
Creara Consortium exists for a specific moment: the one where an organization adopts AI to help write what it sends, and discovers that accountability for tone, consequence, and trust never left human hands. We give people the discipline to meet that responsibility well.
Our story
Creara Consortium was founded to close a gap that opens the instant AI enters communication. The tools draft faster than ever — but a message still goes out under a person's name, to a real recipient, with real stakes. The judgment that decides whether it should be sent, and how, is irreducibly human.
The name is the thesis. Creara — from the Latin creare, to bring forth — paired with Consortium, a union of distinct parties toward a shared purpose. Our mark is the Vesica Piscis: two circles overlapping to reveal a third form in the space between. AI is one circle. Human emotional intelligence is the other. What emerges between them, when the discipline is present, is something neither produces alone.
Creara doesn't claim to invent that idea — it stands in a documented lineage from Carl Rogers and Martin Buber through Daniel Goleman and contemporary work on human-AI collaboration. What Creara adds is the operational discipline: a practice for keeping a human hand on the wheel, wherever the stakes are high and the words matter.
Our mission
"To give organizations the discipline human judgment requires when AI shares the authorship — so that tone, consequence, and trust stay in human hands."
What we stand for
When a message goes out under your name, a person has genuinely stood behind it — not rubber-stamped what the tool produced.
We frame our claims as hypotheses grounded in an established tradition. We acknowledge our lineage rather than claim to have invented it.
Not AI first, not human first. The relationship is the unit of the work.
Judgment is a learnable skill, developed deliberately. It does not appear automatically with AI fluency.
The people
Founder & Architect
Tina Legg Tompkins is the founder and architect of Creara Consortium and of The Relational Discipline™ — the applied emotional intelligence framework for AI-mediated communication, comprising H.E.A.R.T. Prompting™, the GUIDE Leadership Framework™, and the Staying TRUE Practice™. Grounded in psychology and sociology and shaped by years across education, nonprofit development, consulting, and emotional intelligence practice, she built Creara's frameworks from a single observation: as organizations hand more of their communication to AI, the human judgment behind each message matters more, not less. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Southern Mississippi.
